Mike Bass enjoyed a good sale at the Cape Premier Yearling Sale purchasing 7 lots for an average of R1, 275m. Included in his purchases was lot 225, a bay Jet Master Colt out of Our Table Mountain from Highlands Stud which topped the sale at R2,8M for partners Marsh Shirtliff, Markus Jooste and Bryn Ressell. |

Assistant trainer Betina van Schalkwyk said her goodbye’s at the stable last week as she has decided to pursue a new career path. She will be joining the American Saddlers world, working at the offices of an independent company called Impondo. |
